About Bishop Real Estate | Our Team & Properties

In 2004, Duane Bishop founded Bishop Real Estate Investments, LTD (REI) as a platform to develop, build and operate single family vacation rentals in Naples, Florida.

During this time, he also served as an executive of Forest City Realty Trust where he was EVP of asset management responsible for hotel and regional mall/lifestyle retail properties. His role was elevated to COO of this national REIT where his responsibilities included multi-family and office properties throughout the United States until the company was sold in December 2018.

In 2019, Bishop formed Bishop Investment Management, LLC as a platform to perform third party development, asset management and property management. Since that time, the company has had multiple engagements in the hospitality, office and multifamily sectors.

In 2023, Bishop added two key executives with a rich background in hospitality and food & beverage – Scott Bishop and Ashly Bishop. By bringing in these two talented family members, the company is poised to provide extensive management services in the hospitality sector, including vacation resorts, that are either owned by the company or as a third-party manager. This team has a combined 70 years’ experience in hospitality/food & beverage/customer service, which is the cornerstone to real estate management.
